calculus
you know, its a hard class in the sense that we have to teach ourself everything, and then try to do the problems.
me, i wait until i'm a week behind in homework. then, when i understand whats going on without using the book, i will spend 4 hours at a time in the mathlab working my ass off trying to catch up two days before the huge quiz.
yeah, it could be a little masochistic, but i have such horrible reading comprehension that i have to wait until i can figure out whats going on in class when our teacher goes over problems i didnt do the night before.

right now i listen to, "npr : all songs considered" podcast. yayyy!!!
odd thing: my ipod will completely crash when i play this one song. i dont know whats wrong, it all started happening after i updated my ipod hardware.
oh well, ill just delete the song and hope for the best.
also, when i click on an artist, only one of their songs come up when i know there is more.
what is going on????? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

right now, as i enter a new physical obsession (it used to be handstands :D), i want to be able to do this:

im excited. i need to work on lifting my head off of the ground and laying my palms flat. then, i will put my legs into that position.
oh joy!

ps. im going crazy.
pps. i really reallllyyyyyy misss my cousins!!!

mmm yess...

dengue fever:
very good group. if you have not listened, go and do it now. they are a cambodian rock group.
and the girl has amazing abilities with her voice!
i am convinced that people in the US have little voice talent when compared to the rest of the world. the voice is an instrument, and so far we're stuck on the basics!

oh well, thats all for now.

well well well, i need to procrastinate my veryimportant homework, so ill write what i feel when i listen to the following songs.

Da Hoola (supposedly by Telepopmusic, i dont know though because i got it off of myspace):
this song makes me think... a whole bunch of freindly aliens, and a space ship that is colored blue and green! it reminds me of the streets of sesame street in a way.

the funeral (band of horses):
sounds like matisyahouwethashd (i dont know how to spell it.) in the beginning, follows the same chord progression. but then as the song goes on furthur, it makes me sad in a... pretty kind of way, but just mostly sad.

jesus, ill never forget (soulstirrers on "the lady killers" soundtrack):
awww, its so happy and they have such good voices.

Mimaamakim (idan raichel's project):
its pretty, its one of those "temporary relief" songs. thats where it will give me... temporary relief. but then i find myself getting bored after a couple of weeks. but its still a very beautiful and peaceful song. everyone watch the music video!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0PWukxRV8U
and heres the link for his song Milim yafot me'ele:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9MyofFKV24

alright, thats all i can manage right now before losing all concentration. check out those songs, i can email them if youre interested.
